Course Description:

Designed for 3rd–12th grade educators and interventionists, this on-demand professional development bridges the gap between reading research and classroom practice for older students who continue to struggle with reading and spelling.

You’ll gain a deep understanding of how the science of reading applies beyond the primary years, learn to evaluate and teach all Five Components of Reading with structured, explicit, and systematic strategies, and develop diagnostic-informed intervention plans tailored to diverse learners.

This course also equips you with tools to identify common reading deficits (like dyslexia) and confidently support students to thrive academically. Includes an instructor manual, diagnostic assessments, case study guides, and one-year access to the modules and resource vault.
